Make your school projects even more awesome!
- Time:2 hours
1Use Orange poster board to cover the left half of the tri-fold poster board. This will act as the hot side of the poster. Repeat this step on the right side of the poster using Blue poster board. This will be the cold side of the poster.
2Cut the Red poster board with the scalloped (or other decorative edge) scissors to create a border around the Orange poster board. Glue the edges down for a clean look. Repeat this process, except this time use the Blue poster board for the right side of the poster.
3Write the subtitle of your project (on the project, this is the Temperature Affects Strength verbiage) with shadow illusion stickers and mount it on a White background with glue. Cut out this subtitle to give it dimension and glue it to the center of your trifold board near the top.
4Print out your supporting images and typed information and cut it into sections. Mount it on Black poster board to give it a background before pasting it to your trifold board.
5Using vinyl poster letters, write the steps of the scientific process on White rectangles of poster board. Paste these titles over the appropriate sections of your project's information.
6Label the left side of the trifold Hot using Black poster letters. Label the right side of the trifold Cold using White poster letters.
7Fill the blank space on the trifold board with eye catchers and supporting images to help your project pop!
8Using holographic poster letters, spell out the header (on the project thats shown, this is the Magnetic Attraction verbiage) and paste down:
Cut additional pieces from the Red poster board with the scalloped (or other decorative edge) scissors to create boders on the left and right side of the header.
Add final supporting images and eye catchers to the header.
Slide the header onto the trifold.
