Project Instructions

    Wood Person:
Step A: Use a hammer and nail to make a hole through the center of the 1”" wood disc.
Step B: Paint one 1”" round bead and four of the 12 mm beads Flesh Tone. When the paint is dry, add a face and some features with the Sharpie marker. Paint one ¾”" spool, eight ½"” spools, and the wood disc the coordinating paint color. When all the wood is dry, put washi tape around the center of the ¾"” spool.
Step C: Cut a 36”" piece of waxed linen. Fold the piece in half and place the folded end onto the lanyard clip. Thread both ends through the wood disc and the large wood bead to make the hat and head. Tie the waxed linen into a knot and then thread one side of the waxed linen into two small spools and one small wood bead. Thread the waxed linen back up through the spools to create an arm. Repeat with the other side of the waxed linen to create the other arm. Tie a knot in the waxed linen. Thread both pieces of waxed linen through the large spool and tie a knot. Tie the waxed linen into a knot. To create legs, simply repeat the sequence used to create the arms. Tie the waxed linen into a knot under the large spool and trim off any excess.
