Bat Box

With the many $1.00 Nicole™ Crafts wood items available at A.C. Moore, fun and creative projects for kids and adults like the Bat Box can be created at a small cost since most of the projects use inexpensive, basic craft supplies!

Project Instructions

  • 1
    Carefully remove metal clip from clothespin.
  • 2
    Paint box Purple Pizzazz with sponge brush and let dry.
  • 3
    Cut out templates for wings and trace onto Purple foam and cut out.
  • 4
    Trace wings with glitter glue. Let dry.
  • 5
    Cut out two 1-1/2 inch x 1-1/2 inch x 1 inch pieces from the Purple foam for the ears.

    Cut two 1-1/2 inch x 1-1/2 inch x 1/2 inch pieces from White foam for fangs.

    Glue wings to back of box with tacky glue.
  • 8
    Glue ears to back of front handle. Refer to photo for placement.

    Glue on eyes. Place wiggle eyes toward the edges of the white circles so the bat looks cross-eyed.

     Draw on mouth with glitter glue; let dry. Glue on fangs as shown.
