Project Details

  • Level:beginner
  • Time:1/2 hour

Project Instructions

  • 1
Gently press down on the Styrofoam ball creating a “flat” bottom (this helps the Styrofoam ball from rolling around). Add glue to the bottom of the baking cup and place Styrofoam ball inside.
  • 2
Start from the bottom – where the lip of the baking cup begins and work around and up the Styrofoam ball. You can double stack your buttons to create “layered” look. With a pin – slide one or two buttons thru the button hole and insert into the Styrofoam ball. When done, go back and fill in any empty spaces.
  • 3
After Styrofoam ball is completely covered, insert "cupcake" into cellophane wrap.
  • 4
Tie cellophane wrap shut with a ribbon bow.
