Buttons Galore & More Baby Shower Card
It's always a wonderful occasion when a friend announces that she's having a baby, and it's definitely something to celebrate with crafting! We love creating themed projects with basic craft supplies, and this lovely card for a baby announcement or shower is no exception.

- Time:20 minutes + dry time
1Select three pastel buttons and decide where on the card they will go. Make note of that area.
2Trim Pink cardstock to 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and watercolor paper to 5-1/4" x 4". Draw stems and a ground line with a waterproof Black pen onto the 5-1/4" x 4 watercolor paper. If you'd like, go over these lines using Black thread in your sewing machine. Tip: don't worry about getting this perfect! Some sketchy lines and imperfection will add to the project! Add swirls, leaves, and dots.
3Color in the leaves and stems with Green watercolors. Let the Green go outside the lines a bit. Put a dab of watercolor in the center of the area where each button will set and create a circular shape slightly larger than the button. Tip: Set the button down to check and see how much more color youll need to form the petals/outer flower area. It is easy to add a bit more and expand your color area.
4Add a bit more color once dry in a circular or sketchy fashion to add more movement and interest in your flowers, then once dry adhere your buttons to the watercolor paper. Finish this card by adhering the watercolor cardstock to the Pink cardstock folded card.
