Cinnabon Cupcakes

Project Instructions

    Project time does not include the time needed to cool the cupcakes.
    You may find it helpful to watch the video provided near the top of the page before starting this project.

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

    Sift together 4-1/2 cups of the dough mix (do not include the yeast), 1-1/4 cups of cinnamon sugar filing, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

    Combine eggs, milk and oil in bowl and mix well.
  • 5
    Add wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix just enough to moisten.

    Spray muffin pan with nonstick cooking spray or put a cupcake liner in each cup. Fill each muffin cup until it is 2/3 full.

    Bake cupcakes for 20 to 25 minutes. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the middle of a cupcake. When the toothpick comes out clean the cupcakes are done.

    Decorate the cupcakes with the frosting and sprinkle with any remaining sugar filling.
