- Time:1 hour
Cut cardstock to desired size of card. Score and fold in half. Cut a piece of cardstock slightly smaller than the card. Adhere it to the front of the card.
Cut a piece of burlap paper slightly smaller than the previous cardstock piece. Adhere 1-1/2 inch wide ribbon and/or fabric to the burlap, wrapping the ends around to the back. Trim excess ribbon. Adhere burlap paper to the card.
Cut a spiral rose shape from burlap. Roll rose from the outside of the spiral to the center. Glue the back of the spiral to the center of the spiral to hold rose in place. Curl the petals back. Place a pearl sticker in the center of the rose. Adhere rose to the card. Embellish with feathers.
2Burlap Monogram Jar:
To make the monogram jar lid, type the monogram and/or sentiment and print on regular printer paper.
Tape all sides of the burlap paper to the regular printer paper over the previously printed monogram. Choose the heaviest paper weight setting for your printer and then reprint the monogram. Touch up print with a pen. (Tip: if your printer cant print heavyweight paper, use a stencil rather than printing on the burlap).
Cut monogramed burlap to the size of jar lid and adhere in place. Embellish with pearl stickers. Adhere a piece of the 3/8 inch wide ribbon or to the side of the lid. Trim excess ribbon.
