Duck Tape Stocking

Make a new Christmas stocking this year!

Project Instructions

    Create two pieces of Duck Tape fabric in Green Clover that measure 19 inch tall and 14 inch wide each. To create Duck Tape fabric, To make Duck Tape fabric, lay a strip of Duck Tape, sticky side up, on your cutting board. Lay the next strip so it slightly overlaps the other. Continue until you have a piece that measures your desired length and width. Take it and turn it sideways so the strips are going left to right. Lay the next strips, sticky side down, going up and down so it is laying the opposite direction. Trim off any excess.

    Using a pen draw and cut out an identical stocking shape on both pieces of Duck Tape fabric.

    Using small strips of Green Clover, tape the front and back of the stocking together around the edges. Leave the top open.

    Make a piece of Duck Tape fabric in Zig Zag and cut out 2 matching trapezoid shapes. The base of the trapezoid should be about 3/4-in. wider than the top of your stocking.

    Using a piece of Zig Zag, adhere the trapezoid pieces to the top inside of the stocking to create the cuff. Fold the cuff down and tape the edges together using a piece of Zig Zag on each side. Trim off any excess.

    For a loop to hang the stocking from, take an 8 inch long piece of Zig Zag and fold it over onto itself and tape it to the top inside of the stocking.
