A.C. Moore is a specialty retailer offering a vast selection of arts, crafts and floral merchandise to a broad demographic of customers. We opened the first A.C. Moore store in Moorestown, New Jersey in 1985, and have grown to 135 stores as of July 2, 2011. Our stores are located in the Eastern United States from Maine to Florida. In October 2007, A.C. Moore launched its e-commerce site, www.acmoore.com.

We are devoted to being our customers’ first choice for product selection, value and service that inspires and fulfills unlimited creative possibilities. We believe that our assortment, convenience, service and pricing differentiate us from our competitors. Our assortment of merchandise consists of more than 60,000 stock keeping units, or SKUs, with approximately 40,000 SKUs offered at each store at any one time. We also offer custom framing in the majority of our stores. In-store events and programs for children and adults provide hands-on arts and crafts experience and encourage the creativity of our customers.

A.C. Moore Arts & Crafts is proud to have created Crafting a Better World™, an initiative designed to provide crafters a way to give back to their communities by doing what they enjoy most – crafting. Crafting a Better World is a program through which we collaborate with our customers to make a direct impact on the communities in which they live and work. Our Crafting a Better World partner organizations include Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the American Red Cross and Easter Seals.

  Boys & Girls Clubs of America is a national network of 4,300 neighborhood-based Boys & Girls Clubs serving more than 4.5 million young people annually through membership and community outreach. In September 2009 A.C. Moore partnered with our customers to raise over $50,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs while hosting free in-store crafting parties for the children and donating crafting materials to the Clubs.  See our News Release for more details.

The American Red Cross provides emergency aid for victims of war and natural disasters, as well as helping more than 15 million people gain the skills they need to prepare for and respond to emergencies in their homes, communities and world.  In response to the devastation created by the earthquake in Haiti, A.C. Moore raised over $60,000 for American Red Cross Haitian Earthquake Relief efforts.  See American Red Cross’ News Release.

Easter Seals is a national nonprofit, community-based health agency dedicated to helping children and adults with disabilities attain greater independence. In May 2010, A.C. Moore raised over $141,000 to help support Easter Seals Act for Autism program which provides exceptional services, education, outreach, and advocacy so that people living with autism can live, learn, work and play in our communities.  See our News Release for more details.
