Elmer's Eggshell Art

Making artwork from eggshells and food coloring is egg-ceptionally easy --… and fun!

Project Instructions

    Break clean, dry eggshells into pieces about the size of a dime. Mix 1/2 teaspoon of vinegar with a small amount of water in a cup. Add a few drops of food coloring and stir. Repeat with other colors.

    Drop the eggshells into the different colors of mixture, let set for 30 minutes, then place them on a paper towel to dry.
  • 3
    Sketch a picture on the foam board with glue. Press eggshells into the glue until all the desired areas on the picture are covered. Let glue dry. If desired, embellish your picture with paints and let dry.
