Download and print project template. Trace background pattern directly beneath the fold of a piece of newspaper. Flip the pattern over and trace directly above the fold on a piece of newspaper, making sure your edges meet. Cut background pattern out. Trace background pattern and the other three patterns from the template on foam board and cut them out. Cut two 1-1/4" x 1-1-3/4" pieces of foam board for spacers. (Tip: When cutting foam board, score lightly first and then press more firmly to cut deeper, with several passes of the knife. Replace blade often.)
Position background pattern on 12" x 12" striped cardstock and cut out following dotted paper placement line. Leave 5/8" from bottom edge. Trace and cut out upper and lower lip patterns on Rouge glitter cardstock, nail polish bottle pattern from Raspberry glitter cardstock and bottle top from glitter Silver cardstock. (On the Silver cardstock, cut following dotted paper placement line.)
Place striped cardstock on foam board background, aligning upper corners. Lightly trace curved edge and lower straight edge onto foam board. Glue the striped cardstock within the traced lines. Let dry. Glue Rouge glitter cardstock pieces to the lips and Silver and Raspberry glitter cardstock pieces to the nail polish bottle. Let dry.
Apply one kind of washi tape along the bottom of the background. Cover the top of clothespins with additional kinds of washi tape. Attach lips to piece of foam board with background (leave space between lips). Align and glue foam board spacers from step 1 together and glue to back of nail polish bottle. Glue bottle to lower right of foam board with background. Clip clothespins to edges.
For hangers on back, measure and mark 2" down from top and 3" in from each side. Slightly separate curved ends of one paper clip. Glue bottom half of paper clip onto the mark with single loop down, creating hanger loop with longer end of paper clip. Repeat to attach other paper clip hanger, then hang from wall with hooks or similar hardware. Add child's name with marker.
