Project Instructions

  • 1
Build: Cut small flat spots on the opposite sides of the larger ball (or both larger balls if you’re using three altogether). On the smallest ball, cut a flat spot on one side. This will help them fit together and glue more securely.
  • 2
Form: Create grooves in the pumpkins by gently pushing a ruler into the side of each ball. While the ruler is in the ball, pry it back and forth making “V” shaped grooves from the top to the bottom of the ball. Use the foam cutter to shape a small stem from the 3" ball.
  • 3
Paint: Coat each snowman part with two coats of Gesso and let dry. Then, paint each part as shown or as you'’d like. Let dry.
  • 4
Detail: Use a paint marker for the small details. When dry, glue all the parts together. Add twigs/small sticks to the sides for the snowman's arms.
