FloraCraft Vintage Jewelry Accent

Recycle your old jewelry to create an interesting addition to your home décor.

Project Instructions

    Project time does not include drying time for the paint.

    Gather enough jewelry items to cover ball – from flea markets, old jewelry boxes, A.C. Moore's clearance tables, rummage sales or thrift stores.

    In well-ventilated, newspaper-covered area, spray ball with two light coats Copper. Let dry.

    If you are going to display this project on an object such as a glass candlestick when you are done (see step 6) place ball on candlestick's base. Use pencil to trace edge of base onto ball. Remove for now. (This area should not be covered by jewelry if using an object to display project.)

    Starting with largest jewelry, evenly space and hot glue pieces all around ball (except inside penciled circle if you have created one). With medium size jewelry, position and glue between large pieces. Similarly attach small jewelry, filling in areas until ball is covered (except for penciled circle).

    If desired, hot glue finished project on base such as a glass candlestick to display.
