FloraCraft Vintage Jewelry Accent
Recycle your old jewelry to create an interesting addition to your home décor.
- Time:1 hour
1Project time does not include drying time for the paint.
2Gather enough jewelry items to cover ball from flea markets, old jewelry boxes, A.C. Moore's clearance tables, rummage sales or thrift stores.
3In well-ventilated, newspaper-covered area, spray ball with two light coats Copper. Let dry.
4If you are going to display this project on an object such as a glass candlestick when you are done (see step 6) place ball on candlestick's base. Use pencil to trace edge of base onto ball. Remove for now. (This area should not be covered by jewelry if using an object to display project.)
5Starting with largest jewelry, evenly space and hot glue pieces all around ball (except inside penciled circle if you have created one). With medium size jewelry, position and glue between large pieces. Similarly attach small jewelry, filling in areas until ball is covered (except for penciled circle).
6If desired, hot glue finished project on base such as a glass candlestick to display.
