- Time:2 hours
Project time does not include drying time for the spray paint.
In well-ventilated, newspaper-covered area, spray top third of foam cone Black. Let dry. Spray bottom two thirds cone Olive Bright. (Note: its not necessary to mask off area, hair will cover slight overspray.) Spray both sides of Snowcap cardstock with Olive Bright.
For hat brim, use compass (or trace around bowl) to draw 6-1/2 inch circle onto Purple print decorative paper/cardstock. Similarly draw 2-1/2 inch circle in center. Cut out outer and inner circle with scissors. Set aside.
Download and print project template. Trace and cut out nose and ear on Bright Green and mouth on Orange cardstock.
For the moment, place nose flat against cone, approximately 2 inch from bottom and use craft knife to cut 1/4 inch deep vertical slit into cone, along straight edge of nose. Insert nose into slit. Similarly position and cut slits for ears, then insert. Then remove each, dot with tacky glue, and re-insert into slits.
Referring to photo, hot glue ends of mouth in place. Hot glue Black button on lower half of White button with edges touching. Repeat for other eye and glue in position. For wart, glue Black button to each side of nose bump.
Carefully, slightly crumple hat brim for a crunched look. Place hat brim on head and tack glue if loose. For hair, trim the Midnight cardstock with the decorative-edge scissors. Gently knead paper shred to intertwine strands and tack onto head using glue gun. For bangs, fold 2 strands at a time in half and glue under hat. Repeat to cover bang area, then trim bangs as desired.
