Just getting back into needle work and cannot remember if you cut the perforated paper before or after doing your design. Can anyone tell me? And how do I prevent the edges from fraying? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Funny this question should be asked, I just finished doing a project on perforated paper. I've always waited until after I was done stitching to cut the paper. Using a pair of small, sharp pointed scissors helps alot too. As far as the edges fraying, I usually attach felt to the backs of my projects on paper, and I've never had a problem.

Hope this helps,

Amy :D

I remember doing cross stitch on paper when I was in Scouts.
