This is a mini album I made for my MIL for Mother's Day. I loved the look and pockets of the TP Albums that were all over the internet in Apr/May, but didn't like the idea of using a TP roll for a picture album. Plus, I couldn't get the TP rolls to flaten out and I wanted the album to be "purse friendly". So, I took a few measurements and made this album. Each page has a pocket that contains a tag that the person pictured on that page wrote a note to my MIL. Then I bound them all with my BIA. There were 6 pages, but I'll only show you the ones with my family!

Great job on these. I've seen this idea with the TP rolls before and I thought it was so creative. Thanks for sharing.

Those are cute. I might have to make some for Grandparent's Day.

I think I am going to do something similar to give DD when she goes back to college. I could do a picture of each family member and have that person write a note to her. Great idea.

KarenJo, when my friends daughter was away at college she made a book for her called Flat Jackie (like Flat Stanley-do you know the book I'm talking about?) They made a little paper doll with a picture of her daughter on the dolls face. Whenever they did something together as a family they would bring the doll and take pictures with it. Raking the leaves, shopping, watching a movie, etc. They scrapped all the pictures in a mini album and sent it to her daughter while she was away at school. The book was hysterical and her daughter loved it.
