When will A.C. Moore allow us to use gift cards online?

I am an avid A.C. Moore customer, who spends thousands at the store.

I received $200 in gift cards for Christmas and my birthday, and my store doesn't have half of what I need, to which I found everything I needed and then some online at acmoore.com.

This is so completely frustrating. I need to scrapbook my pictures.

You can buy gift cards online but can't use them. I personally have never known a store website NOT allowing to use their gift cards online. Michael's is another one, but you can't even buy anything online there.

Now, corporate e-mailed me saying to take my list of items to my store and have them call the warehouse to see if they have the items I need there. I have such a huge list (over $200), that I really don't want to bother the employees with this.

So please, allow us to be able to use our gift cards online, and also while I am at it, allow us to use coupons online as well.

Thank you.

Print out the e-mail from corporate and give it to the Manager along with your list. They can fax the list to the warehouse. Make sure the list is readable. Preferably typed. The warehouse can put your order together and send it on to the store for pickup. Then you can use your gift card. BTW, AMC takes AMEX gift cards. Not all stores do.

Additional Info. When you are making up your list, make sure you have the item number and if possible, the SKU number along with the name of the item. It is the SKU number that tells the warehouse where the item is located and they can go to it fast. They will then check it against the item number and name of the item.

Addie is always full of so much useful information. Thanks Addie!

I do appreciate that ACMoore is willing to work with the customer to get items to the store to be purchased with gift cards.

I wonder if you could go to the online store here, pick everything that you want as if you are going to order it online...and at the end of the process...just before you'd add your credit card info....screen print your shopping cart! Then bring that list to your local AC Moore,,,and maybe the store manager could order it online for you, and have it delivered to the store. Of course you'd have to pay shipping and handling...and possibly the sales tax.

I don't think it would hurt to ask.

*update* I just noticed that the original post was in January....LOL...and I don't think dolphinsfanatic ever came back!

Peace
