We always joke in Delaware that the ten days the State Fair runs will either be the hottest or the rainiest ten days of the year. That is one reason I NEVER take vacation when the Fair is going on. Well, it opened on Thursday night, and I don't think the day or night temps have gone below 85 since then. We have had thunderstorms every day since then. Today is over 95, and judging by the clouds coming in, a thunderstorm is on the horizon. It is nice when some things are predictable.

It's really hot today down the Jersey shore too. I've been out in the pool with the kids all day.

We've had a rainy summer so far. Today it's very humid...but at least there's a breeze.

KarenJo, All thru June and most of July it rained here!! As of Sunday, it has been hot and humid with the chance of thunderstorms. It is brutal. I am trying to pack as quickly as possible to get out of our apartment and into our new home.. central a/c and ceiling fans!!!
