I sat down this morning to go through my list of things I want to make this year to give as presents.
I know I am going to crochet some washclothes for my MIL and SIL and make a hat for FIL. And I have a bunch of altered calendars to make for everyone as well.
Has anyone else stated planning for this?

Well, I know that I am going to make a matching set of mittens and scarf (and maybe the hat) with fun fur for my seven y.o. g'daughter. She is very girlie!

Great gifts, ladies. I've thought of preparing Mason jars with hot cocoa and mini marshmallows...adding fibers around the lid...or covering the lids with patterned paper...adding edible swivel sticks...etc. Haven't decided exactly what I want to do...but I am leading in the Mason jar/hot cocoa/mini marshmallows direction.

I'm painting tote bags for all my friends. You know, the ones you take to the grocery store.

I'm making name frames for my nieces and nephew to hang in their rooms. I'll post pictures as I finish them. piggy, the tote bags are a great idea. Rett, do you have the "snowman soup" poem to go with your gift? They come out really cute.
