We, as many of you, have had over the usual amount of rainfall this year. I can't really say the summer was rainy because we sure had plenty of dry, hot periods too! The last few weeks though seem to have been pretty cloudy and drab. However, yesterday and today have been picture perfect fall days. Just a bit of crispness in the air, but still warm enough for shorts. We went to the University of Delaware football game yesterday, and it was just a gorgeous day to be outside. Hope all of you are getting some of this lovely weather too.

Its still running in the 90's here everyday and predicted for the whole of next week as well. We;ve had our usual afternoons storms, rains, dries up and the sun is out again. The evenings are starting to cool off a little. I can't wait for our fall weather cause its perfect allthe way into Jan/Feb when we get a little cold.

Warm, sunny days...and cool crisp nights...perfect. We always take a ride to Indian Lake, NY during the fall...nature should be putting on quite a show this year. I'm looking forward to it.

Peace

we took a ride up to Kinzua Dam and Kinzua Bridge today, 8 motorcycles, 11 people. was an excellent day for a ride. The leaves are turning colors. I think we will have a very pretty fall this year.

We are due to be in the 80's throughout this week, but cooler nights. I love this weather. The local Mini Cooper club I'm a member of has a weekend get-a-way scheduled next month for a Fall Run into the Virginia mountains. We are over nighting it in a historic inn to boot. happy

I'll be closing the pool this week also. happy That's a good thing because I'm tired of the up keep, but will hate looking at the big green tarp like cover for the months to come. I'll enjoy the next couple of days viewing my crystal clear blue water without swimmers before the leaves start floating in. happy

We will be having a warm but slightly cloudy day. The nights are chilly, and I keep my windows open to help air out the apartment. An extra blanket helps keep me warm while I am sleeping. I love this time of year. Soon it will be too cold for me to run around on my scooter. I wish it had a windshield. When I do go out in the cold on it, it is just for short trips to a local store. And when there is snow on the ground, I have to ride on the street instead of the sidewalk.

I do go to the malls using The Ride. I take my scooter with me. Both the malls I go to are outside malls. And I love it. No place for teenagers to hang out. The Ride is a service that our public transportation service provides for the handicap. It serves more than 35 citites and towns and cost only $2.00 each way. And if I know that I am going to have a lot of packages, I can bring and Aide with me for free. It can be anyone. A relative, friend, etc. The holiday season is coming up fast and I am so looking forward to it.

Here in Atlanta it is rainy, warm and steamy. Predicted to be like this all week. I am getting soggy and there is water in the basement I keep having to deal with. I really don't like driving in the rain either. Tomorrow I fly to Jacksonville to teach for a few days and I hope it is no raining there. Last week my flight home was delayed more than an hour because of storms all over Georgia. The leaves are beginning to turn here in Atl. but the rain is making it messy when they fall to the ground. Winter cannot get here fast enough for me.

Those wet leaves on the road are almost as dangerous as ice.
