Seems to be another "person" selling on this site. Some very odd posts and references to another site.

Admin Lady will take out all ads for selling. Just send her an email giving her the location of the ad.

Just banished 2 sales people. One joined Sept. 16 posted a few innocuous things and then started his sales pitch yesterday. The other just posted come to my site and buy my stuff. They are gone now.

Just send me a PM with the URL and I will go get the posts & the poster.

I do know we get scammers on here and have even reported two myself. They can trash up a forum fast. bang head here

I have a question. I've been mentioning in my last few post about my opening an Esty store front. I've even added my Esty link to my sig. Is that okay to talk about on here? I've always posted threads in the Jewelry and Beading area showing some of my designs, but not until recently have I mentioned that I sell on a site. If it's against the rules I'll go back through and change up some of my post.

Thanks,
Donia (N2Beadz)

ACM actually promotes and recommends Etsy for their members. So as long as it is not too commercial, it is permissible. You can put a link to your Etsy site without fear.

Good to hear. happy THANK YOU for your response. I didn't think I was pushing the rules around and wasn't trying to, but wanted to be sure either way. In some of my post where I've used items in my design that I purchased at ACM I promote it.

We have a few members that have gone real commercial with promoting their Etsy store. But they were quietly and privately asked to tone it down. In fact we love to hear about members buying their holiday gifts from a member that has an Etsy site. Members have also mentioned that they would be selling at a craft show in their area in case anyone would be there and could look them up.

And I was only too happy to respond.

It can be expensive. I bought my son an entertainment laptop for Father's Day. It is wireless and it has cost a small fortune to get all the gadgets, widgets and gizmos. (Typical male!) He loves it. My oldest son bought him the fan for the bottom. It helps reduce the heat that it can create if it just sits on a tabletop or your lap. That really was a necessity.

For myself, I don't miss my computer if I am not home. So I doubt I will ever go wireless. But I certainly understand the need and want for it.

I just want to be able to take my laptop into the kitchen for recipes or to go hide in my room and play on the forums without my kids screaming every time I sit down to type!

We are wireless in our house. Especially with two teens with laptops, it is wonderful. Of course, DH is an IT Director so he always has to having the most up-to-date toys!
