We're dog sitting for my friend this week. I love her dog, I want to keep her. She's curled up in my lap as I'm typing this. I made this picture for her.

Thanks ladies. She really is such a sweet dog. We have a 100 lb. golden retriever who thinks he's a lap dog. I tell him that he past being a lap dog around 80 lbs. ago.

Ahhhh - he's so cute - curly too!!! My Speckle is a curly rag-a-muffin - I usually wind up shaving her down a bit.
I had a 120 lb German Shepherd who was the best, most gentle dog in the world (sorry ladies he was LOL). Anyway he was sneaky (as if a 120 lb dog could be sneaky). He would come up to me and drop his 20 lb head in my lap and look at me with those eyes - the minute I would pet him the legs would come up, slowly, one at a time. I was generally laughing so hard at this point I couldn't stop him. My husband usually had to come and rescue me because I only outweighed the darn dog by about 10 lbs. He never would jump in your lap or on you for that matter. He would just kind of slowly creep into your lap.

I have a friend in CA and she has four Yorkies. Her girlfriend has three Yorkies that are sisters of one of her Yorkies. They dog sit for each other. Seven Dogs! Yap! Yap! Yap! And none of them like the UPS guy. In fact, they don't like anyone in uniforms.

That's funny Addie. I can't imagine 7 dogs at once. At one point we had 3 dogs and that was enough.
