Hey there everyone!
My name is Shannon and I'm from Charlotte, NC. I've been scrapbooking and card making for about four years and, of course, love it. I was just able to create my own "studio" this year. It's certainly a work in progress, but I love where it's going.

On another note, I am in the process of starting a non-profit organization called Scraps of Hope. The purpose of my non-profit organization is to bring the art of papercrafting to people who can truly benefit from is creation. Whether it be bringing supplies to the elderly in a nursing home and teaching them to create cards for their friends, helping a family create a scrapbook to hold memories of their angel in heaven, or helping a terminally ill child create paper dolls to play with, I plan on doing it. Furthermore, I have and plan on sending premade cards to those who could use some inspiration, scrapbooks to those who need a place for special memories, as well as kits to make the aforementioned. Before I apply for my 501c3, I'm attempting to get a few projects under my belt. If you have any suggestions....people who could use a card...families in tragic situations who could use a scrapbook to hold their memories...someone who needs a distraction from their unfortunate situation in the form of a new hobby.... any of these things..please post and let me know.
