My sister bought me this sea shell stamp set that I can't wait to use. I have some summer pictures to scrap that I'm going to use these for.

Thanks Jen. A lot of my pages tend to have a beach/summer/ocean/pool theme to them. I am going to get a lot of use out of these stamps.

Very nice stamp set - I'm not a beach person, but I used that theme when I visited my son in Florida.

That tag was so much fun to make - it's done with UTEE, white glue a little beige acrylic paint and some perfect pearls. It's so much easier and cleaner than using real sand but it looks just like sand when you're done.

This was another layout from the same trip - I used some mesh and glued tiny tiny shells in the "net".

Barbara, those LO's are beautiful. I love the netting with the shells. How did you do that?

It's just some netting that I found - it's very soft, fabric like. I just used pop dots rolled and put them on the cross threads so that they wouldn't show. The shells are real shells, I just found the smallest ones I could. Living on an island, albeit a very BIG one, there is a shell store not far from me. They sell loose shells and anything and everything you could think of made of shells.

I think, that the net was once a crocheted shopping bag - that's what it looks like. It's not wool - it more like a crocheted thread.

Thanks Barbara. I have to try this. I just found a tiny scallop shell the other day at work but I didn't bring it home. I should have put it in my pocket.

remember, anything you bring home clean it in bleach! I've brought other hitchhikers home on shells - LOL
