Tomorrow (oops it's today as it is 12:38 AM) is another crazy Monday. I have to take good dog to the vet for her comprehensive exam.

We start a new curriculum for school and most excitedly we start Pre-K with DS3!

Then tonight we debate between the Rainbows Awards ceremony, Dog Training class for Bad Dog, and Girl Scouts...all 3 take place at the SAME TIME.

d'oh Oh and we have to pick good dog up sometime in there...Tell me what have we got against human cloning again? talk to the hand

WOW!! Sounds like a busy day. I just have cleaning and laundry to do. I want to try and play some more with my new sewing machine and try and do some scrapping. We'll see.

I over slept and did not get the dog to the vet in time for drop off...they rescheduled...the rest of the day followed suit...like Scarlett said "Tomorrow is another day"...darn it.

It must be Mondays. I didn't want to get up today and go to work. but did and made it ontime. Came home and took Mom to the store and didn't get back in time for my ceramics class so stayed home and here I am.

Today, oh HappyHeart today was a day for dentists. Orthodontist told me how much they wanted (I nearly fainted) and then I had to go. I have an infection in my jaw. WHO EVER HEARD OF SUCH A THING? But at least it's not a cavity and there will be no drillin'!

That jaw infection left my first husband with osteomyolitis and removal of his lower jaw bone. He had a steel jaw in its place.

Here it is Monday again. Did you ever make a pot of coffee and that first cup tasted so good that you just drank the whole thing right down? Well that is what happend this morning. Now I am on my second cup and am trying to make it last. Don't think I am going to succeed.

A while back I asked my son to pick me up a pack of coffee filters. He got the house brand pack of 100. From experience I have learned that name brand holds up better. So of course these just want to break every time I try to remove them from the pot to make a fresh one. Cleaning up wet coffee grounds is not my favorite chore. I have been encouraging my son to take all he needs. I am SOOOO willing to share them.

Time to get back to my cup of great coffee and go through this forum to see what is going on.

Now I have to try and figure out what is wrong with my desk OTT light! It keeps flashing!

No appointments or house guests today so it has been MUCH quieter around here. DH went camping so I have 800 loads of laundry to do (I might be exaggerating a tad...) but other than that the day has been a good one. DD and DS1 are done with school, have the windows open and the birds are singin'...not bad.

Another Monday. Work went by very fast today. Moving around as a specialist in different classrooms is a lot more fun then being in the sam eplace all day long. Love bringing in the special projects to each classroom.
Though I was tired today after crafting with Tim Holtz all weekend and staying up until DD got home from the New Kids concert. She was just bubbling from being picked to go up front and having Donnie hold her hand.

Have a great night all.

Today I am...
1. getting the children back into the idea that today is a school day (we homeschool & they try to slip by when I am off my game...)
2. washing laundry from the trip
3. getting Christmas lights ready to hang tomorrow (church again tonight)
4. working on quilt squares for the fall QBS I hosted, they were due Oct 15th but I had a small tragedy when a baby bottle landed unseen in the quilt box, leaked and molded all the blocks, so I had to start over after vacation...
5. church tonight, prayer service for the election tomorrow...

So all in all a calm Monday by comparison!

No frantic running around today. DS#2 is sick, and I have already been to WalMart for meds. We are canceling all other plans for today and just staying covered up watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and getting all better.

What are all of you up to today?

Well, I got a call at 7:30 this morning. My g'daughter needed some brownies to take to school. Her mother forgot. And she was heading out the door to work. Could I whip up some in a hurry. They are all ready to be picked up. The rest of the day, sewing and not much else. I might vacuum. I am expecting a couple of packages from FedEx and UPS. Gifts from some friends around the country.

I've got 10 hours of babysitting today... 9-1, 1:45-3:45, 5-9... long day. Fortunately the kids are sleeping right now... I had 3 this morning, 2 that are 2 and a half and one that just turned one. This afternoon and this evening I have the same family (5 kids)... Right now, the 4 month old, 1 1/2, and 3 year old boys are sleeping and the 5 1/2 and 4 1/2 year old girls are in school. Mom will be home with the girls by 3:30 or so and then I get to run home and get dinner before coming back to feed them and put them down. Woo, long day. Guess it'll pay well. =)

After the last few mondays, I'd say you need a break, cr8ive. :)

Hope you all have a great rest of the day!
