My husband wants me to create his company name in the vinyl to stick on his work van. Does anyone know if the vinyl material will work for that or is there something else I need to use? Thanks.

Sorry I can't help with that. If you go to the cricut site forum you may be able to find and answer. Kathy

Yes you can cut the vinyl with the cricut and put it on your car. Use the transfer tape like they do on the infomercial. If you go to the cricut web site, cricut.com they have a message board for working with vinyl. I'm sure they can answer any questions you have and tell you how to do it step by step. Here is a picture of vinyl on the back of my van. One of the ladies on the site made it for me.

Hi,
You'll need to buy "outdoor" vinyl (check a local signage shop). The home decor vinyl fades in the sun and can peel off. The outdoor vinyl is fade resistant and *permanent*. Still cuts ok on the machine.

I used some vinyl on my rear car window. We have had torrential rains, high winds, etc,and it hasn't budged one inch. Give it a try!

Plus, if it comes off, it's easy to replace!
