*Checkin in*

Sorry to hear you were not feeling well last week, Janine....and glad you're feeling good enough to come back to post:)

Sorry to hear about your computer crashing, Patti Jo...I know how it feels...mine has died twice in the recent past...grrr. Congrats on finding the second job. Hope you find the time to stop by and say "hey" :)

The rain has been crazy around here the last few days. Earlier today we had several storms blow through, and dumped 4 inches of rain in about an hour and a half. Flash floods are all over the place, the blacktop out front of our house is all in chunks. My MIL called my hubby crying because her basement was all flooded. I felt bad for her.

Peace

Addie, when our Super Wally World opened, it was so overwhelming as to where to start. You do eventually get used to it. Although sometimes when I walk in there, I still think, "Seriously, I can buy underwear and lettuce in the same place in the same cart? A little strange.'

I check in now and then and enjoy reading the posts.I have to go to our local Ac Moore for Lilys Sugar n Cream Yarn to make some dress sets for a 10 inch doll. They finally got the reward program in there !! People are signing up like crazy and i am from the Altoona,Pa. area !! I made one of my customers a white dress, bonnet and booties set from the sugar and cream yarn and she loved it so i am hoping she will want more sets when she receives her package in the mail.If not i will put them on ebay.

Yesterday in RI cars thought they were going through a deep puddle. It was deep all right. The water came up to over their hoods. They had to be rescued. We have been having storms going through here one right after the other. The rain comes down so hard, you can't see through it. Flights out of Logan are being canceled left and right. Even the runways are flooded. And they are out into the Atlantic. The airport is a peninsular that juts out into the ocean and is surrounded on three sides by water. The ocean is now level with the airport.

Driving to the store from hell, was a trip also. Brand new parking lot and it was flooded at seven this morning. There were maybe ten shoppers there at that hour. So it wasn't too bad. I was able to get everything on my list. But I now know to make the list backwards. I divide it in half. My son takes one half and I the other. His half actually started in the freezer section. So I will make the list to start at the produce next time. I only got to see one half of the store. It is humongous. The whole back of the store is all meats. I did forget three items. Nothing important. I can pick them up at any time.

I hope you all have a happy fourth. My daughter has a party planeed for outside, but I doubt that will happen.

We had T storms during the night. But woke up to some strange orb in the sky. It was very bright. I think it was called a NUS. Oh wait. That's SUN backwards. No wonder I didn't recognize the word.

Addie,

Looks like that "strange orb" might be back today!

It is early but what a wonderful sight to see blue skies above.

Good to see you posting again JoanE. We just took the wallpaper down in my kitchen and let me tell you it was a chore. We painted my kitchen and put a beautiful new floor down. My next mission is to get some vinyl so I can decorate my kitchen.
