I've checked in with my local store weekly and they assure me I'll receive a phone call when the cart arrives. What they've said is that there has been such a great response to their recent sales that they can't keep their warehouse supplied. By the time I get the call, my $10 reward certificate should arrive in the mail. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas morning! Went to ACM last night to pick up something else and asked when my Personal Cricut and my 3 cartridges (all ordered on raincheck on 08/29/09) would be in (they had told me "in about two weeks" when I signed up for the raincheck) and am now being told not expect the items until close to Christmas! Or whenever Cricut gets around to making the machines and the "hundreds of cartridges" that are now on rainchecks. It might be "Christmas morning" before we get to play with them.

Funny you posted this when you did. Last night I was at my local ACM and saw a sign at the register instructing cashiers how to answer questions about items being out of stock. Basically it said they are not to promise any arrival dates, are to check to be sure items are not discontinued and are not to tell people that the truck arrives on "xxxxxx" day so call in to see if the products is here. Hope we really don't have to wait until Christmas.

Ok, so another week has gone by and I'm still waiting. Boy, was I disappointed when I saw another craft chain with LOADS of all the new cartridges in stock yesterday. Why can't ACMoore get them in?

I have been waiting over a month for Storybook. When the others have it on sale again I will buy it there.
