I'm thinking out of all of his books that I've read which is all but two (I think) it's the one that I'm going to have to reread at some point because there was so many layers. I feel like I missed something but I know I probably didn't. Right now I'm reading Emily Climbs by L.M. Montgomery and Fart Proudly Writings of Benjamin Franklin You Never Read in School by Benjamin Franklin. I was doing so well only reading one book at a time for a few weeks. Dee

I love mysteries. I am reading "Doggie Day Care Murder" by Laurien Berenson. It's the first of her books that I have read and I like it.
I also love all of the books by Laura Childs. She does the Tea Shop & Scrapbooking mysteries.
My other favorite author is actually a friend of mine named Lauren Sharman. My next book will be her newest book, "When Night Falls." She writes romantic suspense and her books are all based in Maryland.

Janine, I LOVE Harlan Coben. I discovered him about 18 months ago and have read everything of his. You just fly through his books. I am reading James Patterson's 3rd Degree right now. I have read a bunch of his books but missed this one.

Cr8ive, I can't read more than 1 book at a time. I get them all jumbled in my head. DD and eddie, I love Nickolas Sparks too. I just read The Lucky One and it was really good. A Walk To Remember was such a good story too. Made me cry but that's not too hard to do. Victoria, I heard about the scrapbooking mystery book and it sounds good. Doggie Day Care sounds interesting.
KarenJo, I love Harlan Coben. I got caught up on his Myron Bolitar series last summer. Didn't James Patterson write Suzanne's Diary For Nicholas? I loved that book.

I can't remember any of Nicholas Sparks books not making me cry. I started reading him when I was at the Outer Banks, NC when they were making the movie, Nights in Rodanthe. Someone told me about the book and I read it 2 times while I was there for a week. I have been stuck on him since.

Yeah that's one of the ones I haven't read, along with The Choice. Unfortunately I have a stack of books to get through before I can get back to reading any more of his. It's hit or miss if Sparks books make me cry. I've loved everyone I've read so far. Dee

Her books are based on history of the south. St. Augustine, St. Simons Island, GA, Savannah, Charleston, SC. etc. There are places in these cities that you can actually go and see what she writes about. I loved going to Fort Fredricka on St. Simons Island when I lived in Jacksonville. There is a church and cemetery there that you can actually see the graves of the people she writes about. These books are back in very early days of the U.S. and during the Civil War.

My sister and I loved to visit old cemeteries. You can follow the life, death and history of a whole family. Some men had two or three wives. It shows just how important a wife was to the homestead. In Salem MA, we have cemeteries that have marked graves from the early 1600's. And In Boston of course there are the graves of men who died during the Revoluntionary War.

Well, I have gone on strike. I got my orders for my next craft. That is all it took. So I laid down the crochet hook and headed for the library. I intend to spend the next few weeks reading. Something I have loved doing all my life. It is "my" time to go into my own world. It seems lately over the past few years I have gotten away from it. Well, I AM BACK!!! Thanks to this thread. Thank you ladies.
I got the word yesterday that I "had" to make two watchman caps and a matching hat and scarf with the fun fur for my g'granddaughter. Now I don't mind doing them, but when you tell me, "You have to......." I get my dander up. It would have been nice to hear the word please.
