There was an article in our paper the other day about how our we seem to be losing of ability to be civil. They cited the Kanye West incident, the "You Lie" incident and Serena Williams tantrum. In the article, they wondered what the solution was to regain the ability to be civil with one another even when things aren't going your way. You know the first thing that popped in my head - everyone needs an Admin Lady! We never have any problems with those issues here!

Respect for anything and anyone has really gone out the window these days. I'm sorry to see such outbursts of people who have never learned the appropriate way to display their displeasures. I mentioned to my daugher that I thought her generation was whacky and she said 'well, you;re the generation that raised us'!
Certainly not in this mama's house!!!

Well said KarenJo. It's a shame that it's come to that but I do think that a lot of people have forgotten how to be civil and patient.
I think people forget on the computer that there are actual people on the other end of the keyboard.

Elayne, I know what you mean. I work in a school and most of the kids wouldn't last a day in my house.

I think that the group of people I have to "moderate" is the best in the world. I don't know much about the rest of the world but crafty people seem to be the most civilized around and I am honored to be part of your community.

Maybe these other people just need to learn to play nice like we do here.

I think the reason we are all so nice is that we all realize just hard we all work at our individual crafts and appreciate all the effort that goes into them.

Hey, I amy be on to something. World peace through crafts!
