I've been noticing the same thing. I've been posting a few threads in the Beading & Jewelry section and getting less replies. I thought a while back it was just summer and everyone was busy. Then maybe with school starting and everyone getting prepared for fall/winter. I'm not sure what it is. I've even tried posting a few replies in the other sections to see if everyone is just up to something else these days.

I've been checking in on the weekdays and posting a little here & there. I usually don't get on the computer much on the weekends because I am too busy at home and with errands.
I noticed too that there has not been much activity. I hope everyone is okay!

Thats my idea I think thats an excellent idea, other boards do offer some freebies/gifts ect. Maybe Admin Lady can come up with some kind of contest that utilizes thier products and offer a gift for the winners. I don't have an ACM near me so it wouldn't inspire me but its fun seeing what everyone can come up with.

I do come in every day. But most of the posting are about 'swaps' and 'scrapping'. And these two are not in my area of real interest. So I have nothing to add except when a pic or two have been posted. But I still enjoy reading all the postings.

We surely need to create some kind of stir around here. I pop in and out, but lately I feel like I'm one of a very few posting in the beading and jewelry area. It's lonely over there.

I have been homeschooling and home cleaning. I check in first thing in the morning and again late at night, today I was no where online. My littlest broke his leg and I spent the day at the hospital...so needless to say I did not make it out to mail the fall image swap! Beadz I am posting a link in your fav forum in a minute...

It just seems for me that it has been one thing after another, both at home and at work. I just can't seem to get caught up on the things I have to do and am only occasionally hitting the boards. However, last night I realized just how stressed I have been and have spent some time today just relaxing (which I have a hard time doing when I look around and see how much needs done around here). I thought I would pop on the boards and catch up. I plan to do some scrapbooking tonight. I am anxiously awaiting ACM's first sale on Christmas picks, etc. to get started on some Christmas crafts.

Beadz I am posting a link in your fav forum in a minute... Caught your link. Excellent find for sure. Thanks for adding it to the deep dark part of this forum. Apart from a couple other posters I feel so alone over there. Sorry to hear about your child breaking their leg. I guess you'll be just a bit more busy for a few weeks. Now you'll have to pull out all the craft supplies to decorate the cast.

I check the posts every day but I've been really busy. My Grandpa died on Saturday, today is the wake and tomorrow the burial. He made it to 106. No time to play these days!

So sorry to hear about your Grandpa. You were blessed to have him with you so long. I was young adult when I lost both sets of my grandparents so my kids really didn't get to know them. Prayers for your family.

Piggy, don't grandparents tell the best stories? You should write them down to share them with your kids.
