I started playing with my design studio on my laptop last night (amazing what you will do when you can't go to FaceBook!) and it makes NO sense o me. Any good "Design Studio for Dummies" sites out there with tutorials? I signed up for a class at my LSS but they went out of business!

Hey, I'm not any help on using design studio, but I definitely recommend invest in in the new Gypsy by Cricut/ProvoCraft. It's well worth it, and will do everything design Studio seems to do and more, welding, stretching, skewing, using multiple carts on the same cutting mat, ... then you just hook it up to your Cricut, and send it to be cut (by clicking buttons on the Gypsy) It's hand held and portable, and if you watch the ads, you can score on fro 279.99. It's preloaded with two carts, Gypsy Font (which is GREAT to weld with) and Gypsy Wanderings. You can access the whole Cricut library, however, you may only cut if you have purchased and loaded the right to that cart onto your Gypsy, good luck with your Design Studio though!!!!

I worked at AC Moore Mechanicsburg, PA (Store 82)
for two years, from April 2006 - June 2008.

I have dabbled in every thing including,
apparel crafts, earring/bracelet-making,
a very small amount of knitting, (not enough to give any guidance)
and my biggest crafting love, SCRAPBOOKING!
I have over 14 loaded scrapbooks, and own
the original Sizzix machine,
the Cricut Expressions machine,
and now the new Gypsy!

*Feel free to contact me for any help.*

Cr8ive, DS takes a little getting used to. Play around with it and read the manual that comes with it. That was helpful for me. You should also look for videos on-line. I'll check to see if I have any helpful sites.
