This turned out harder than I thought. Finding 8" squares was not an easy task. Plus life has a way of throwing curve balls. So if anyone still wants to play here is what I would like to do... I will post a motif, then the next person posts one, then the next, etc. Just keep in mind these need to be relatively easy to do as we have some very new beginners on the board. So who wants to play by these updated rules? Let me know!
Had a brain storm last night! I want to start a Crochet-a-Long Club! Once or twice every month I will choose a pattern for a square, then we all crochet it. You can use yarn from your stash or buy new it is your choice. You can make something with your square (like a pillow, potholder, dishcloth, whatever) or save your squares to make a throw. But by the end of the month everyone has to post a picture of either their square or a project they made with it. Because I am posting this in a few different places I am using my blog to keep track... Here is how to join: 1. Hey cr8, just a ?. Is it ok if I post my pics of the squares now or do u want all of us to wait & post the same time?  I made both of the squares last night. I know that we were only suppose to make the one, but I wanted to try the other one that you said was for Naz. So they are finished & I decided that I am going to take all my squares & make a throw for my new home next year. I'm using all my scraps that I have, thats a good way for me to get rid of all those of yarn that I have lying around LOL. It will be like a scrappy throw with all the colors.
I'm hoping that u only choose a square that is always 8". If not, I'll work it out, I just love to crochet, thanks for the great opportunity.
