What's the difference between Embroidery needle, Cross-stitch needle and Tapestry needle? What would work best for paper needle point (need a small needle for a design to make on cardstock)?

Embroidery needles have a sharp point for penetrating closely-woven fabric. Tapestry needles have a blunt point for stitching between stiff, loosely-woven canvas threads, as used in needlepoint.

I don't know if you ever found out, but I would think the sharper needles would be needed for paper.
