Project Instructions

  • 1
Paint the wood rectangles and letters in the color of your choice and let dry. (Leave the front of the letters unpainted.)
  • 2
Trace the letters onto the cardstock of your choice and cut them out. Tip: Trace backwards on the reverse of your cardstock to avoid pencil lines.
  • 3
Apply Mod Podge with the foam brush to the front surface of the letter. Match up the edges of the cardstock to the letters, and press cardstock down to attach. Allow the Mod Podge to dry.
  • 4
Stand wood rectangle on its side, against the standing letter. The flat side of the rectangle should be facing where the books will be. Mark the wood at the top of the letter.
  • 5
Apply Quick Grip on the side of the letter, below where marked, and attach. Let dry.
