Gifts Under $10: Tassel & Pom Pom Bookmarks

Project Instructions

    Pom Pom Bookmark:
    Step A: Create a pom pom with your choice of yarn, following the instructions on the pom pom maker package. Use six 3-foot pieces of yarn to tie the pom pom together.
    Step B: After the pom pom is made, braid or twist the yarn to create a length of about 8"” and trim the ends.

    Tassel Bookmark:
    Step A: Wind the yarn around a 4”" piece of cardboard about 15 times.
    Step B: Cut three 3-foot pieces of yarn and tie a knot through one end of the wrapped yarn.
    Step C: Remove the yarn from the cardboard and tie a small piece of yarn around the tassel about 1"” from the tied end. Trim the bottom of the tassel straight across.
    Step D: Braid or twist the yarn to create a length of about 8’’".
