Glue Dots For Someone Special Card
Make a card for that someone special in your life!
- Time:45 minutes
1Create the horizontal card with the Primary Red cardstock.
2Cut a 2-1/8 x 4-3/4 inch panel from each of the following cardstocks: Pink Stripes, Pink Tiny Dots and Rouge. Adhere to the front of the card using 1 inch Glue Lines.
3Cut a piece of Light Kraft cardstock into a 1 inch strip. Using straight-edge scissors, cut the ends into notches and adhere to the center of the card using 1 inch Glue Lines. (Tip: you will need to cut the strip in half and adhere close to the edges of the card in order for it to fit the 5 inch x 7 inch frame.)
4Cut a 3 inch circle from Snowcap cardstock and regular edge scissors. Cut a slightly larger circle with the Primary Red cardstock and scalloped edge scissors. Adhere the Primary Red to the White, with the White on top. Adhere to the center of the card using 1 inch Glue Lines.
5Using the third largest die cut from the heart set and straight-edge scissors, cut five hearts from the remaining three pieces of cardstock listed under supplies (Candy Hearts, You and Me and Light Pink with White Flowers). Cut five identical size hearts from the Snowcap cardstock and straight-edge scissors. Using a 1 inch Glue Line, adhere a Snowcap cardstock heart to the side of the cardstock you do not wish to use for the particular heart. Fold the hearts in half and adhere to each other using 1 inch Glue Lines to create an accordion style heart accent.
6Adhere the hearts onto the center of the Snowcap circle using 1 inch Glue Lines.
7Stamp the desired sentiment (as shown in the project this is For Someone Special) onto Snowcap cardstock, trim and adhere to the bottom of the card using Pop Up Glue Dots.
