1Paint wood plaque. Tip: Use 1/4 inch brush to paint the edges to following the lines of the wood. Paint the rest with snap 10 brush. Let dry completely.
2Download and print out template. (Or draw desired design freehand.) Cut it out. Mark nail placement 3/8 apart all around the edge of heart. Place template onto the center of plaque and make the same marks onto the wood as you did earlier in this step. Hammer a nail into each mark.
3The heart (or other design) can be wrapped with string in three sections. Take the first color of floss and start from your left hand side of the heart. Knot around a nail to secure, wrap string around nails at different angles until all nails are used. For the middle section of the heart, take the second color and wrap around nail to secure. Wrap string around nails. Tip: You can wrap the string to points that have already been used by another color this will make the colors blend together. Finish the heart with the third color.
