- Time:an hour + dry time
Make stencil: Use the pencil to trace a money sign of desired size onto one of the pieces of cardboard. Cut money sign out with craft knife. Place money sign against denim bag t-shirt. When you are satisfied with placement, use the pencil to lightly draw an outline of the money sign at that spot.
Prepare: Cover work surface with plastic tablecloth. Lay denim bag out flat on this surface. Insert the second piece of cardboard between the front and back of the bag. Use plastic bags or paper towels to cover any areas of the denim bag you don't want painted. This will prevent overspray on unwanted areas.
Paint: Shake cans well before use. Apply one light coat at a time to the stencil design. Add additional coats until you are happy with the color.
Finish: Allow the denim bag to dry before using. Note: Project time does not include this drying time.
