Project Instructions

    Cut burlap to size to fit around cans.

    Download and print project template for the patterns. Trace scissors pattern onto freezer paper. Make sure the piece of freezer paper is big enough to fully cover the burlap cut for the can and be sure to trace it with the shiny side of the paper down. With craft knife, cut out traced pattern to make stencil. Be sure the save the pieces cut out from the centers (finger holes on scissors and buttons holes on the button) of the stencil to iron back on.

Iron on the stencil in the center of burlap, shiny side down. Lay down newspaper and spray Green fabric spray paint over the stencil. Let dry. Repeat this step for the pen and button patterns. Use different colors for each stencil.

    Remove freezer paper stencil. Use tacky glue to adhere burlap to tins cans. Let dry.
