Tip: The colors of the medallions can be any combination you like.
Download and print the project template. Tape the pieces together where indicated. Use the template to cut out the hat from the decorative cardstock. Roll into a cone and use the glue stick to attach the ends together.
Create a pom pom from yarn by following the instructions on the pompom maker package. Tacky glue the pom pom to the point of the hat. Let glue set.
Cut two 1-½" x 12" pieces of solid color cardstock. Fold each piece in ½" accordion folds. Glue the two pieces together on each end with the glue stick to form a circle. Cut out two solid cardstock hearts. Push the accordion circle together in the center. Place tacky glue in the center and hold together for a few minutes. Glue one heart to the center on each side. Hold for a few minutes until glue sets. Attach a foam glitter sticker heart to cardstock heart. Glue medallion to hat. Need to see it? Check out the video near the top of this page.
Punch a hole on each side of the hat. Cut two 24" pieces of ribbon. Tie each piece to a hole. Tie a knot to secure. Use these to tie the hat around your head.
