Project Instructions

  • 1
Tip: Alternate the colors of chenille stems used on each pom pom. Alternate the colors of glitter on the cardstock hearts.
  • 2
Make a large pom pom from each color yarn. Trim the pom poms round. Cut 1"” off of a chenille stem. Curl one end on itself until there is ¼"” left on the stem. Bend the remaining part of the stem and glue into the center top of a pom pom. This will hold the place card. Cut two 2”" pieces of chenille stem. Attach two heart stickers back-to-back on one end of each piece. Glue these on each side of the pom pom. Repeat with the other pom poms.
  • 3
Cut 3"” wide hearts from each color cardstock. Place a bead of Iridescent glitter glue around the edge of each heart. Sprinkle the glitter glue with glitter. Shake off excess and let dry. Write a guest's name on a heart and place into the curled part of the chenille stem.
