Project Instructions

  • 1
Paint the saucer using Moon Yellow. Let dry.
  • 2
For the nose, choose three large pom poms and glue them together to form a triangle. Set aside.
  • 3
For the ears, fold the felt in half, cut out a half circle and set aside.
  • 4
Position the eyes and nose in the saucer where you want them. Now you can see where to put the cheeks and chin. Freehand them on the saucer using a pencil. Fill in with Linen and outline with Coffee. Let dry.
  • 5
Glue eyes and nose in place and let dry.
  • 6
Glue fur around the upper edge of the saucer – fur facing in. Trim any excess and glue edge. It will look long and pretty stiff, but once the glue has dried, fold the fur over and fluff the mane.
  • 7
Glue the ears to the mane. Let dry.
  • 8
Cut pipe cleaners to yield six whiskers – three for each side. Bend each slightly at the end, add glue and stick into place under the nose. Let dry.
