Light Me Up Scarecrow
The versatility of glass blocks with markers, paint, glue, lights and so many other crafters' tools make it easy to create a block for every occasion. Here, fall flowers, paint and other tools are used to make a scarecrow.
- Time:1 hour
1Spray outside of glass block with Yellow paint. Let dry.
2Add facial features with Black marker and Red paint.
3Glue Styrofoam piece to top of glass block.
4Tie an 18 inch section of raffia into a knot at the center so that it looks like a bow. Glue and pin the bow to the Styrofoam.
5Cut flower stems from the bush. Insert into Styrofoam.
6Insert clear lights into the bottom of the glass block.
