Project Instructions

    Use a gauge of 15 sc and 16 rows (about 4 inch) to crochet a macaron that measures approximately 2-1/2 inch in diameter. Save time, check your gauge. If the needle or hook listed under supplies does not work, use the size that allows you to obtain the required gauge.

    First Half
    **With Robin’s Egg (and/or Soft Violet and/or White and/or Yellow and/or Light Blue and/or Rose Pink), ch 2.
    1st rnd: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook.
    Join with sl st to first sc.
    2nd rnd: Ch 1. 2 sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc. 12 sc.
    3rd rnd: Ch 1. *1 sc in next sc. 2 sc in next sc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. 18 sc.
    4th rnd: Ch 1. *1 sc in each of next 2 sc. 2 sc in next sc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. 24 sc.
    5th rnd: Ch 1. *1 sc in each of next 4 sc. Sc2tog. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. 20 sts. Fasten off.**
    Second Half:
    Work from ** to ** as given for First Half.

    Join Halves:
    Holding First and Second Half together, join Light Blue (and/or Grape and/or Rose Pink and/or White and/or Robin’s Egg and/or White) with sl st to any sc of 5th rnd. Ch 1. Working in back loops only of both halves, work 1 sc in each of next 12 sc. Stuff Macaron lightly. 1 sc in each sc to end of rnd. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off.
