Project Instructions

  • 1
Use a gauge of 13 sc (about 4 inch) before felting to crochet a table runner that meadures about 9 inch x 40 inch. Save time, check your gauge. If the hook or needle listed under supplies does not work, use the size that allows you to obtain the required gauge. Download the template for abbreviations not explained elsewhere.
    Special stitch:
Picot = Ch 4, sl st in 4th ch from hook.
    Notes:
Leaves #1 and #2 are worked in continuous rnds; do not join and do not turn at beg of rnds. A marker is used to indicate the beg of rnd. Move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Leaf #3 is worked back and forth in rows.
Completed Leaves are lightly felted by hand.
Instructions are for a 40 inch long table runner. Materials are sufficient to make additional Leaves if you wish to make a longer table runner.
