- Time:2 hours
1Use a gauge of four 3-dc groups + 8 rows (about 4 inch) to crochet a scarf that measures approximately 8 inch x 72 inch. Save time, check your gauge. If the hook or needle listed under supplies does not work, use the size that allows you to obtain the required gauge. Download the template for abbreviations not explained elsewhere.
Color is changed every 3 rows.
To change color, work last st of old color to last yarn over. Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops on hook to complete st. Fasten off old color.
We think it is easier to work over the yarn ends as you go, but you can always weave in the ends after the Scarf is completed.
Work *(3 rows with Redwood, 3 rows with Acadia) 6 times, (3 rows with Olympic, 3 rows with Acadia) 6 times; rep from * one more time for a total of 144 rows (48 stripes).
