Lion Brand Homespun Country Cute Cardi
How cute is this short-sleeved cardi?
- Time:3 hours
1Use a gauge of 10 dc + 6 rows (4 inch) to crochet a cardi that measures 29 (30-1/2, 33) inch in Finished Chest and 10-1/2 (11, 12) inch in Finished Length. Be sure to check your gauge. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches to match the gauge, try using a smaller size hook; if it takes you more stitches, try a larger size hook. Pattern and supplies are written for smallest size (6-8 years) with changes for larger sizes (9-10 years, 11-12 years) in parentheses. When only one number is given, it applies to all sizes. To follow a pattern more easily, circle all numbers pertaining to your size before beginning. You will need 1 skeins of yarn to make this cardi in sizes 6-8 years and 2 skeins of yarn to make this sweater in sizes 9-10 years and 11-12 years. Download template for abbreviations not explained elsewhere.

When Cardi has reached armhole length, chs are worked for sleeves. Youll need a separate strand of yarn to make the sleeve chs, so before beginning, cut a length about 3 yard long, and set it aside until you reach the yoke portion of the Cardi.
