- Time:1/2 hour
Measure a length of Elasticity to fit your wrist size, plus an additional few inches.
Tie one end of the Elasticity to the gold evil eye charm. Be sure your knot is secure, adding some all purpose glue with help hold.
String 2 blue beads and a gold/crystal rondelle. Next string on white beads, the number needed will be determine by your wrist size. Complete by stringing 2 more rondelles and 2 more blue beads. If the bracelet is too long, remove the last 3 beads strung and remove white beads. Finish by tying the other end of the Elasticity to the other end of the evil eye.
Create tassel with DMC floss by first winding floss around a piece of cardboard, 2x the length of the desired tassel, until you reach the desired fullness. Cut a piece of floss a few inches long and lay horizontally , then slide the floss off the cardboard, and center it on the cut piece of floss. Tie floss into a tight knot around middle of looped thread. Pull the looped threads downward and cut through looped ends. Cut another piece of floss to wrap tassel neck. After wrapping neck, pass end of thread through loop and gently close loop, tucking ends into the head of the tassel. Trim tassel ends if necessary.
Finish by tying the floss loop to a jump ring and attaching it to your bracelet between the rondelle and a blue bead.
