Mini Clipboard Name Tags

Have a special reunion, meeting or get together (or first day of school)? Have fun creating these cute mini clipboards…just add to a lanyard or glue a pin back on it and you’re name tags will be the talk of the meeting! What makes them even more fun? Two clipboards in a package for a dollar!

Project Details

Project Instructions

  • 1
    Paint entire wooden portion of clipboard. Colors used in samples shown were Poppy and Blue Bird. Press on clip to lift up so wood under clip can be painted. Let dry.

    Place small amount of paint on palette or paper plate. Dip larger end of stylus directly in paint and create a dot border with School Bus. Clean tip of stylus and redip into paint every time to create a consistent size paint dot. Let dry.

    Write name with Sharpie marker.
  • 4
    Option: use alphabet stickers or rub-ons to personalize.
  • 5
    Glue pin back or attach ball chain to lanyard.
